More Birthday Pics
These are just pics from the birthday party. I love the first one because she is holding the monitor like her phone and that dress was just too cute on her.
Eating Cake and Ice Cream
So we made her a big cupcake that she could dig into by herself. When we got her into the chair she was not so sure about all that. She cried (she was tired), she looked to make sure it was ok, and she stuck a little finger in to test it. We put Darby next to her with a cupcake and she decided to show Maggie what this cake stuff is all about. She reached over and would stick her finger in and eat it. After we gave her some ice cream she decided it was ok and she played in it a little bit.
We were singing Happy Birthday.
Opening Presents
Maggie had a great time opening presents. She had lots to open! She enjoyed it until she opened something that she wanted to play with and then there was no more for her. Jo gave her a cell phone and set of keys. Well she and Darby only wanted that is when we had to learn to SHARE. Maggie got pretty possessive over the cell phone. She also got this cool rocking horse from Babe and Poppy C. Thanks everyone for everything.
Darby is showing that she has the cell phone while Maggie is on the horse. Maggie is all eyes on that cell phone.

Christmas Parade
There was a Christmas Parade on Maggie's Birthday in downtown so we bundled up and headed out. It turned COLD on Saturday. We were all bundled up and still freezing!!!! Jodi got sick and so she didn't go out with us. The girls had fun watching everything except the big kids kept getting in their way. After we made christmas ornaments and had a balloon animal made for them. It was fun.

The Cake
Every girl has to taste the cake batter. So we let Maggie taste and approve the cake mix. Mom, Linda Lee and I made cupcakes for everyone and we made a large cupcake for Maggie to eat all by herself. We had a great morning making the cakes.

The Playhouse
Mom had the bright idea (after seeing it on Heather and Courtney's blog) that we needed to make the little girls a play house for this weekend. It took all we had to find a box around Dallas. We tried moving companies, bike shops, and finally a Sears that had one. So we went to Rockwall and I got into the dumpster and got a box. We came home a painted it. Later that night we went to Hobby Lobby and Walmart and got the supplies needed to make a precious playhouse. We were up until about 12:00 making this thing just like we wanted it. The next morning when we got Maggie up to look at it --- she was scared. She would look but not touch. We would put her up to the door and she would start backing up. After Darby Kate got here and began playing in it --- Maggie loved it. They had a blast all weekend long going in and out.
