Turner was christened on August 8th 2010 at First United Methodist Church, Rowlett, TX. Mom and Dad came down with Darby Kate for the weekend. Aunt Carolyn, Joe, Mimi, Sherry and Jackson, Tessa and Olivia, and Alfonsina and Thelmo all attended the service for Turner. Rev Wes Magruder performed the ceremony and it was great. He also christened Maggie when she was his exact age. Turner looked great and just looked around at everyone. We had a lunch at my house after church. Everyone came over and we all got to visit. Mom made great salads and we had some really sweet cross cookies made. It was so special and I am so excited that everyone got to be there in honor of my sweet William Turner Lucero.

The Circus
Mom, Dad and Darby Kate came to Dallas a couple of weekends ago. All of us loaded up on Friday night and went to the circus at American Airlines Center. We went a little early so that we could go down on the floor and see the clowns and a few of their other acts. DK was not so sure about the clowns. She would hide behind moms legs and make sure they were not looking at her. They both really liked the dogs and also the elephant who painted a picture. Turner was in the moby wrap the whole time but never missed a beat. He never really said much but he was sure to watch it all. We took the girls some snacks so that we didn't buy the VERY expensive treats that they tempted us with. They never even asked for one thing. I was shocked! They made sure and ate all the snacks and danced and watched the show all at the same time. We all had a great time. The circus is a favorite of mine!

Pirate Birthday
Maggie's best friend Jackson turned 4 this past . The first part of his birthday was a family party (plus us) at his house. We had everything pirate in the world. Sherry is great at planning parties and loves every minute of it. We went over that morning and they all played pirate games and had fun just playing together. We ate pizza and had cupcakes. She decided to make the morning party just a little bit easier because of the elaborate party that night. He opened presents and then they played with everything. It was a great party!!!
7 months
Once again here I am saying "Where did the time go?" He is now 7 months old and is just the sweetest thing in the world. He is very busy!!!! He is on the go all the time. He loves to come and find you in another room --- he smiles at his accomplishments. Maggie is just a great big sister. They play together more and more every day and I love to sit back and watch. She is normally playing nice with him. He is on a great schedule and is also pretty flexible at the same time. He gets up about 7:30 and takes a morning and afternoon nap each for about 2 hours. He eats dinner around 6 and is in bed at 7:30. He goes to sleep with music, a pop pop and his blankie. Wow the difference between two children (or maybe the way I trained the 2nd one). He is a joy all the time. I love you T!!!
