Motorcycle Fun

So today we went with Marcelo and Marcos to the dirt bike track to watch them. Maggie and I had fun watching from the side. I was trying out my camera with action shots. It was fun trying to capture the moments they were in the air. Maggie had fun playing in the dirt and finding rocks to try and eat. When we got home and in the bath tonight she literally had black running off her hands. She had such a great time and was such a great little girl. She does not mind all the noise from the bikes at all.

So much fun she needed a little gatorade.

Marcos in blue and Marcelo in green.

Watching and waiting for Dad to come back around again.

Halloween Fun

OK so I was up in the attic and I found a box of Halloween stuff. I got it down and we were playing with all the fun stuff inside. Maggie got to try on some of the wigs that we have collected over the years. She was not afraid of the mask or anything. She just looked at us like we were crazy.Maggie as a blonde.
Maggie as Bob Marley.
Nope she decided that was not the look for her this year.

Nacogdoches Trip

On Friday morning Maggie and I had to make a quick trip to Nacogdoches (3 hours) to see a dear friend who is sick and not doing well. She had never met Maggie and said she was not sure that she would ever see her in person. So it was very important that we go. We went to her house and stayed about 1 hour and it was worth every minute. Maggie had to be in her Sunday best to see her. After the visit we went to the Stephen F Austin campus which is totally different now (6 years later). We went to the bookstore and got Maggie some SFA gear. We were going to meet up with some friends in Lufkin but the timing was just off so we headed home. Maggie was great she slept most of the way and then played in the back. The trip was worth every minute that we got to spend there. Maggie in front of the bookstore.
I let Maggie play in the grass a little before we loaded up for the trip home. She found pinecones that she thought were very intersting.
She was trying to stand all alone. She is doing a lot of that lately.

The Clowns

Mom and Dad had clowns come to their church for some special skits! They were great!!! I was not sure that Maggie was going to love them but she did. She was not afraid at all --- she just wanted to grab her nose. Darby Kate, Maggie and Addison had a great time together and watching the show.

Look at this pic -- my favorite niece Darby Kate is sitting in the front all by herself like a big little girl. I just can't believe that this is even possible.

I love this pic -- my favorite girls watching the show.

Darby just had to give a few hugs now and then. She dosen't go long without hugging someone.
Addison is so cute and had a great time dancing

Balloons and BBQ

We went to the Balloon and BBQ festival this weekend in Hot Springs. We had special VIP passes (thanks Ralph). We had great food and got to see a great concert. Tracy Byrd was great. We had backstage passes to see him up close and personal. Yes you would have gotten to see pics but my camera battery died right before we got to see him so we had to take them on Dad's camera phone. It was a great time.
Yea this is Tracy Byrd's bus and he is inside --- we could see but this pic dosen't really show him.

Maggie had a great time.

Backyard Pics

Today Maggie and I just played around the house and went out and worked in the yard. Then we decided to wash Marcelo's motorcycle. So I got Maggie out of her car and allowed her to play in the water and soap. So then I realized it was a photo opportunity so here is the result of that. She dosen't like to crawl with her knees on the ground if it is not soft and fluffy so that is why she is doing the bear crawl.

Just relaxing in the swing.
