Show Us Where You Live - Children's Rooms

This is Maggie's nursery. It is full of PINK!!! It took a long time to decide what shade of pink to use. I think we made a great decision with a very light pink. She has a pretty small room but it is just how I envisioned it when we were thinking of what to do. I love her bed!! It is a convertible so we will have it for a really long time (I hope). We change the picture frequently that is over her bed. It has been fun watching her grow up in all the pictures. We saw this idea of the diamonds and monogram in a magazine and we tried our best to replicate it. I really love how the monogram turned out on the wall.

We use the dresser as a changing table. We play peek a boo quite often in this mirror.

This is our toy corner. Normally full of toys and books.

Thanks for looking at Maggie's nursery. You can check out all the others nursery's on Kelly's blog.

Clickers

Maggie always loves to put on shoes!!! She will wear her shoes, your shoes or any two shoes she finds. So Babe got her some clickers (as I used to call them). She can wear and walk in these perfect. She can even run in high heals. She figured out that they make noise on the tile floor which was very neat. She was like a little "Miss Priss" in those clickers.

Memorial Day Weekend

We all went to Hot Springs for Memorial Day weekend. It was pretty on Saturday but rainy all day Sunday. It got a little crowded in the condo all day on Sunday at times. Saturday we got to go out on the boat for a while. Maggie took a nap both times we went out. It was a good thing because she is not very fond of her life jacket. When we got home we made cupcakes and she really enjoyed licking the beaters and the bowl.

Just too tired.

Pigtails

I didn't know that her hair was long enough for pigtails but after a few attempts we got them. She looked like such a little girl now and not my baby!!!!

She was saying "Cheese"

A new place to play

Maggie has figured out that the couch cushions move and so she has decided that they are fun to play behind and move all around.

I told her to play like she was going "night night".

Mothers Day

Mothers day we were in Arkansas with Mom. It was raining like crazy (like it has for the past week) on Sunday morning. We tried to get Maggie's pic with her new poodle rain coat and Lexi. Neither were in the mood for a photo shoot before church. So then after church Trevor, Jodi and DKC came over for lunch. We took every possible combination of pictures of the family after church. Then we played for a while before heading back to Dallas. Marcelo cooked dinner for us when we got home. It was such a great day and I am so happy to be a Mom!! It is such a great feeling to look at Maggie and know that she is mine and I am her Mommy!!!

Eating M&M's during the photo session so that she will smile!!! What a bribe. She knows exactly where they are too.

She was in the middle of eating M&M's in this pic.

The girls ---next year we will have another member to the family. I think it is a girl!!! I guess we will have to wait until August to find out though.

She loves to wear my shoes and try to walk around.

Playing with Trevor and DKC. They were riding the horse around the house. They had so much fun and always wanted more!

Women Run Arkansas

Last weekend we all went to Conway for Women Run Arkansas. Mom and Jodi had been doing the 10 week clinic in Hope and so Maggie and I thought we would join them for the race. OK well they ended up just having to volunteer at the race because they were leaders of the group. So Maggie and I watched with Trevor and Darby. It was fun just being there.

Kris Allen

This weekend we went to Conway for the Women Run Arkansas 5K and it just so happened that when we were there Kris Allen from American Idol was going to be doing his hometown visit and parade. Mom is a huge fan this year --- I on the other hand have not watched it this year because it interferes with The Biggest Loser. So we decided to go to the parade and get a closer look. Trevor, Jodi and DKC decided to join us. We waited and waited and waited and finally he came by. We got a great look at him and some good pics too. We had lots of fun even though it was a little hot --- at least it was not raining.

The girls chatting about who could paint this better.

We had to get a snow cone after the parade because everyone did so well.
