Old Times

Maggie's babysitter rolled her hair up the other day. I didn't get to see her except in a picture. Her hair was crazy today so I decided to try it for myself. She looked so cute and it reminded me of when I was little and had my rolled up and would sleep on it all night. When I took it down it was just very full. How precious is this though? I love it.

We Love Water!!!!

Today we went and got Maggie a swimming pool. We got her a little plastic pool with a small slide. When we got home and put water in it ---- she got excited. So I just stripped her down and put her in. She had a blast!!! She was jumping and sliding and just splashing around. She smiled the whole time.
Just jumping around.

New House

Last weekend we were at Hobby Lobby and I found this little house that you color first and then put together. Maggie loves to color so I thought it would be a great little project since it it too hot to play outside. I even got her some new markers and made sure that they were washable. She thought is was so cool that she could color on all this cardboard. So we colored and colored and after a while we took a nap. Before she woke up I put it together for her. She just loves it!!! She goes in and out and looks out the windows. It was a fun little project that we did together.
(Forgive the hair --- we just let it go after nap time)

Saying "Cheese"

I had just as much fun coloring as she did.

Argentina Part II

Maggie's favorite part of going to Abuela's house was playing with the cat. She had never played with one before but fell in love with this cat because she could catch it and carry it around ( I don't think the cat was real fond of her). She would just walk around yelling "Cat, Cat" and when she found the cat it was "my baby, baby". She was precious. We went to a couple of play places with rides and games and all the kids had a great time. Maggie loves to go and play. We all had a great time. On our last day we went to the mountains to Mario's mountain home. It was so peaceful and wonderful. It had a river running behind it that was just beautiful. We had a great time relaxing and Maggie had a great time playing in the dirt. She loved it!!!She caught the cat and is still wearing the same clothes we traveled in 2 days later. Someone found her a little sweater to put on because it was cold.

Argentina - Part I

This past week we went to Argentina for a vacation. I was very nervous about Maggie's 1st plane ride. It is a 9 1/2 hour flight and then another 1 1/2 hour flight. She did better than I could have ever expected or asked for. She slept the entire time. From the time we took off in Dallas until we landed in Buenos Aires. Lucky us we had an extra seat beside us. She could lay down sleep. We went for Marcelo's sister's wedding. Well we got all the way to Argentina with NO luggage. NONE, ZIPPO, NADDA. We had the clothes on our back and that was it. It is winter down there and we didn't have our coats. We arrived on Thursday and the wedding was Friday night. Well too bad we didn't get our luggage until Saturday night and it was wet and mildewed!!! Maggie and I decided to stay at his brothers house and not go to the wedding. We would have had to buy everything new. Marcelo borrowed some clothes from his brother and they went and had a great time. He took pictures for me so that I could at least see her since she was wearing my wedding dress. She was sooooo pretty. Her reception was in the celler at a winery since Mendoza is the wine capital of Argentina. Maggie loved playing on the escalator.
Playing with toy cars at Uncle Marios.
