The Arboretum with Friends

Last weekend we went to the Arboretum and met some friends there for a beautiful afternoon. The weather was so pretty and the kids were all great. They have all their pumpkins out on display and Maggie loved every one of them. She did really good while I tried to get yet another pumpkin picture. We tried for all three kids and just couldn't get everyone to look or even be still at the same time. We looked up after all three moms had their eyes in the camera for a while and we had quite a hold up going on with people trying to just walk around and enjoy the flowers. I did get some cute pics and enjoyed just being with friends outside of the house. This is one of my favorites!

Hudson --- he is getting so big!!!

We got one pic of the two girls both looking at the same time.

Stop to smell the flowers.

Maggie was in front of her dancing trying to get her to smile.

Olivia thought she would try some leaves.

Monster Mash Play Date

Our friends had a Monster Mash Play Date last week. What a fun morning we had!!! We made monster cups, played stick the eye on the monster, played in the bounce house and hunted for Monster eggs!! That was Maggie's favorite part. She loves to hunt eggs. We also had lunch and a photographer friend of ours took all the kids pictures in their Halloween costume. Thanks for all the fun!!!Maggie playing with the train set!

This is the three smallest girls. They are all right about the same age.

Birthday Party Fun!

We went to Tiago's birthday party the other night. Maggie had a such a great time playing with all the kids there. Most of the kids that were there were older and she played so much better with them. They are all so sweet to her and included her while playing. Maggie and Tiago are only 1 month apart and Maggie is almost a head taller and much more outgoing. Tiago is so quiet and shy but just cute as a button. Happy 2nd Birthday Tiago.
She was giving him a hug for his birthday.

Talking on the remote control for the truck.

Girls Weekend in the Spa City

This past weekend we had a girls weekend in Hot Springs. Dad had a meeting in Memphis so it was just mom and I with the 2 girls. We had a great time. I never knew mom had so many crafty ideas up her sleeve. We rode in the red mustang for lots of the time and we even took them down the street in the car. There is a large hill that the girls were going down and the little car began picking up speed and mom and I were laughing so hard we couldn't keep up with them. Then we took pictures out by the lake, decorated a pumpkin, played dress up in Halloween costumes and tried to teach Maggie to go potty on the big potty. We all had a great weekend and came out with some great pictures. We were down by the lake at just the right time to catch the sun setting.
This is them going down the hill. Look at Darby's face and Maggie pointing that they are about to hit something. The girls don't steer when they are in the car --- they just push the gas.
Showing love for her cousin!

My little animal lover was talking to the neighbors dog.

and getting kisses.

Babe bought them swords somewhere that light up so we played outside with them. Look at the sky behind them.

Darby as the pink haired little girl.

Darby was reading Maggie books while we waited on her to go potty. Darby is such a little mother. She likes to take care of Maggie. The next morning Babe asked Maggie when she got up if she needed to go potty. So Darby got Maggie by the shoulders and looked her in the eyes and said "Do you need to go potty" and Maggie said "No". So Darby looked over at Babe and said "Diaper Babe". It was just too funny because she was so serious.

My Little Glow Worm

I got Maggie some new pj's the other night. They are a skeleton of her body. So I was trying to get a picture of them on her so I could send to Babe to see them. She was not really into pictures as you can see. So after she went to bed I got a picture of her. When she fell asleep next to me that night something about they way that she was snuggling up to me was just so sweet! In the middle of the night when I got up I looked and her pj's were glowing. I didn't know that they glowed when I bought them. It was a surprise. So it was pretty easy to find my way back to bed when I just looked for the glow worm in my bed.
Playing with her hair as she does when she is tired.

She looks so big in this picture.

Fall Festival with Friends

Saturday morning Maggie and I met Tessa and Olivia in Grapevine for a Fall Festival. They had pumpkin painting (with markers and stickers), pony rides, petting area, games for children, cotton picking, and a hay ride. We waited in line for a while to get to paint a pumpkin and get some quick pics of the girls. We went to the petting area so that Maggie could look at the animals. She saw a sheep getting a hair cut and after a moment of watching she looked at me and said "my turn." She is saying so many funny things these days. I really need to write them down so I don't forget. Then we headed over and she got to ride a pony. She loves all animals and so this was just the best!!! She held on tight and did such a great job. I walked beside her and tried to take a few pics but I kept getting scared that she would let go and fall. All in all we had a great time despite the very cold weather. Tessa said she didn't think it was quite as cold after we tried our best to get pictures with the pumpkins. We were worn out! We had lunch together and both girls were just so tired! Great day together with friends!
