Prego Cravings

The other night I was really craving ice cream. So Marcelo was home and I asked him to give Maggie a bath while I went to Braums and get some ice cream. It took forever and you would have thought they were giving something away. So after waiting and waiting I got my cone. I walked in the door and was greeted by a clean little girl. Her arms went straight in the air and said "Bite, bite" So as I give her a bit her hands wrapped around the cone and she was off with it. She really enjoyed the ice cream. I had to chase her down just to get a bite. Oh well she did enjoy it.

Lunch with Friends

Saturday we went and had lunch at Gloria's on the lake with some friends. Tessa and Olivia, Nicole and Hudson and Charisa joined us for some great food and catching up with each other. Maggie did so good this time sitting in her high chair and not using her outside voice inside. Maybe it was the babies that kept her interest. Well maybe our next baby will keep her interest too. After lunch we all went outside by the lake and took some pics. I think they turned out pretty good!

Meeting New Family!

My cousin Kim came to Dallas this week to visit Aunt Carolyn. Maggie and I got to get together for lunch with them yesterday. We met at the Galleria and ate at Mi Cocina. Maggie enjoyed getting watch the ice skaters. It kept her busy while we caught up with each other. It has been about 1 year since I have seen Aunt Carolyn and I don't even know how many years since I have seen Kim. I am so glad we got to catch up and visit. They brought Maggie some puppets from the toy store --- Maggie loves them!!! Thanks so much.

Splash Park Fun!

Last week we went to the Splash Park for a little fun and to get out the house. Maggie was a little hesitant at first and I was not dressed to get wet with her. After watching all the kids get wet and run and play she decided that it was going to be ok and so she inched a little closer. Also there was a playground just next door so she wanted to play on that for a while. We swang and swang and swang. She loves to be outside and had a great time.

The circus comes to town

Last Sunday afternoon we went to the circus. We went last year and so we thought we would make it a tradition. Of course Marcelo and I enjoy it as much as she does. We had very good seats and so we were able to see very well. We went the 1 hour early so we could get on the floor and get up close and personal with the clowns and elephants. Maggie did pretty well, she really enjoyed the horses, elephants and the people swinging from the trapeze. All in all it was a great Sunday afternoon outing as a family.

Darby, Maggie and Miss

Maggie and I went to see Darby and Miss (Muffin) on Saturday night while Trevor and Jodi went to a concert. We had such a good time. The girls have not been together in a while and we have not seen Miss in a very long time. We played outside and went to see the new house. The girls got a good wagon ride. Then we came home and Miss fixed mac and cheese and hot dogs. Maggie is a fan of mac and cheese. Then it was play time and they got Miss going and she had the girls running and laughing so hard. Miss is always so much fun and I am so glad that she is a part of our family.

Tea Time

Maggie loves to have tea with anyone or anything that has a mouth. She gives her dolls tea, herself tea, and even Lexi when she can get close enough. "Hey Lexi are you ready for some tea?"
