Destin Day 6

Our last day was a busy day.  We had a sunshine party on the beach for a precious little girl who turned 2! How perfect --- a sunshine party on the beach --- it was great.  We put the tent on the beach with balloons, cake, cookies, fruit, and 5 kiddos ready for the party.  We even had a guest from the tent next to us who joined us for cookies and cake.  He promptly walked over and put his hand right in the cake.  He stayed there for a good minute but didn't push his hand down.  We sang, ate and then played in the sand.  We played at the beach for a while and then Shaylene and I took the girls up to the pool and played there for a couple of hours.  After lunch we rested and gathered our stuff for the afternoon. Family pictures were scheduled for that night.  Everyone loves family pics!  If we only had captions under the picture of what was being said to get everyone to look and smile.  Oh the memories.  We had such a great time in Florida this year!!!

Destin Day 5

 Day 5 in Destin started out EARLY!  We were out the door at about 5:00 am.  Trevor, Jodi, Dad and I went deep sea fishing.  We grew up going every time we were in Destin.  It is always lots of fun - especially when you are catching BIG fish and LOTS of fish.  We are a pretty competetive family so that makes it even more fun.  We caught our limit of Amberjack and even had a throw a few back, the we caught lots of trigger fish and snapper.  We finished up around 12:30 and they cleaned all the fish for us so we had dinner for that night.  Mom and Shaylene had all 5 kiddos that morning and mom had a bum ankle.  I think it was a little CRAZY! They held the fort down though.  Dad and I took Maggie and Darby to the beach when we got home.  They played there a little bit and then we headed to the pool.  Shaylene met us at the pool.  ner After everyone was bathed and clean we decided to try a few pictures.  Well my two decided that that was not going to be the best idea.  Turner was not having any part of it! So I took him inside and came back and Maggie decided to throw a fit too.  So we were done! We ate fish that night and it was all pretty good!  We had a great day.
