Turner turns 4 months old!!!

Turner turned 4 months old on the 18th. I can't believe that he is already 4 months old. Where has the time gone? He is such a joy to have around and be around. He is fascinated with his sister Maggie. He loves to watch her. He is a tough little cookie also --- his sister gets on top of him and rolls around and pulls and tugs on him. He just laughs about everything she does to him. He has started rolling around everywhere. At his 4 month visit he weighed 16 lbs 13 oz and was 26 inches long. He was in the 90% for both height and weight. We love you lots William Turner you are such a joy!!4 months
This is the first picture that I took when I sat him down. I tell you he always smiles!!!

Bluebonnets

Well its that time of year again in Texas. So we went out with some friends to get some bluebonnet pictures this year. I had to include the pics from our past years. It is just so surprising how much they change in one year. I just can't imagine that Turner will be so different just one year from now. And when I look back at Maggie it just makes me think where has the time gone. It is just hard to believe. Maggie 2008

Easter

Easter morning after we saw everything that the Easter Bunny brought we got ready for church. We went outside in Babe and Poppy's backyard and took some pictures. She had some beautiful flocks blooming in her yard. We went to church and then Trevor and Jodi wanted to go to Cherry's and see if there was any daffodils left blooming. We found some patches that were still pretty and took lots more Easter pics. We really got some cute pics of everyone. We even found some eggs that Cherry had hidden for her grandkids that were not found.

Fun at Babe and Poppy's House

Easter weekend at Babe and Poppy's house was full of fun!!! We had perfect weather and so we stayed outside all weekend long. We hunted eggs, rode in the golf cart, rode the mustang and just played in the yard. We brought Turner's swing outside and so he was a happy camper. Saturday we had an egg hunt at Babe's church. There was a little carnival before the hunt and then we hunted eggs. The Coffee's came over to play and have lunch after the hunt. I don't think the girls went inside all day long. Kim brought Anna Claire and William to play and have cupcakes and ice cream. What a great weekend in Hope!!!

PS: I didn't have my camera and so we had to use I Phone cameras and Babe and Poppy's. How could I have forgotten it on Easter weekend?

Poppy let her ride on the mulch as he backed into the drive way.

Rowlett Egg Hunt

Rowlett has a big egg hunt every year with lots of games, a bounce house, face painting, planting flowers and lots of fun stuff. But this year was the first year for a wagon decorating contest. So Sherry and I decided that we would decorate our wagon and try to win. So we put on grass skirts on the wagon and Easter eggs (supposed to look like eggs in the grass). We also dressed the kids alike just for the fun of it. I kept Turner in the Moby wrap where he loves to be!!! He never made a peep the whole time we were out there. So we hunted the eggs (just picked them up because they were everywhere), jumped in the bounce house, had a snack and then got ready for the contest. We were one of four wagons! So I knew we had a chance --- we won "Best Hawaiian Wagon". I guess they didn't get our concept but oh well they got to pick out a prize. After all the fun at the park we went to Jackson and Sherry's house to eat lunch and play in the sand box. They had a great time playing in the box.

Planting her flower. She dropped it so many times before we got it home that it was all broken and had to go in the trash.

The crew --- Notice Jacksons arm --- we didn't know he had such a grip on her until we saw the pics.

Snack Time

Just playing at the park after hunting eggs

Sand Box time --- I noticed Maggie putting sand on Jackson's head and so I went out to stop the madness. I asked Maggie "Are you supposed to be throwing sand on Jackson's head?" Maggie said "No". Then Jackson responded "She is not throwing sand on my head she is just dropping it on there. And it is ok" It is so funny what a two and three year old will say.
