Opening Presents
After church we opened presents. WOW the girls were blessed!!! They got so many cute things they didn't even know where to start. They both love books so they got lots of great books. They both got a Melissa and Doug Art Easel. Darby got a pink tricycle (so cute). Maggie got gymnastics classes that start in January -- we are so excited about that. I think that she will do great. They got lots of other things. We had a great Christmas with the girls. Thanks everyone for everything.
Christmas Eve Breakfast
Sorry this is a little out of order. We have started a tradition of going to Trevor's for breakfast on Christmas Eve morning. So he cooked deer sausage, biscuits and eggs. It was great. We also allowed the girls to open one present early. They got to open some little pink converse shoes that Trev and Jo got the girls. They are so cute!!! Thanks
Christmas Eve Open House
We had an open house before going to church on Christmas Eve. The girls got a little restless inside so Babe took them on a wagon ride before people got there. They always love going outside with the wagon. Tina brought over a table and chairs that she painted for mom and dad. It was out of this world cute. The girls like crawling up in the chairs and sitting. When all the other children got there we attempted the impossible of getting a pitcure of all of them together. It worked!!!! Then we all went to the church and had Christmas Eve service. Both girls got to sit in service and not go to the nursery. They did better than expected.

Dinner at the Hollis's
We went to John and Kim's house for dinner one night. It was soup night which is one of my very favorite foods. So I was very excited!!! Maggie did pretty well most of the night. It was just about her bedtime so she got a little restless at the end. We had to hold her most of the night because John and Kim have lots of "pretties" that didn't need to be examined by Maggie's hands. We had great time and thanks for having us John and Kim!
Trevor and Clancy Revisited
Darby and Maggie are just like sisters. They can be so sweet and then they can be like this. I say Trevor and Clancy revisited because this is how it used to be with us. My story is that Trevor always won! I used to just cry about it but Maggie just keeps on going. She has started to stand her ground and rarely does she cry about any of it. They are a mess together and we find it best not to leave them alone too long. We just happened to be taking pics at the time of this scuffle.

Jack in the box
Mom and I found a box and put Maggie in it to play. She had fun going up and down and trying to get out by flipping it over. It lasted all of about 15 minutes but it was great fun while it lasted. That attention span is just not very long.
Shane's Visit
Shane came to visit the weekend before Christmas and it was great to see him. He had never met DKC and Maggie only once. So I was very excited that he came to visit. We didn't do one thing but sit around and visit, cook and play games. It was a great time. We shared many laughs around the game table. Thanks Shane for coming --- great to see you!!!!
Picnic in December????
These pictures got switched around but oh well. Darby Kate came over to Babe's house to play one day and we had great weather so we got to play outside all day. First we played with chalk and then we decided to have a picnic in the front yard. They got to eat orange sherbert. They had a great time. We played with Babe's wiggle racer and had a great time. Maybe I had more fun then anyone. We would start at the top of the hill and just fly down the street. Darby loved riding with me. Later that day we decided to bring in the picnic table to the kitchen and have another picnic. Maggie's first time with a plate and not a tray. So she flipped it a couple of times but overall they did great!!!!
