Day 7 in Destin

 Day 7 in Destin was wonderful too!  We went to the beach this morning.   I finally rented a YOLO board.  It was a lot harder that I ever though it would be.  It was lots of fun but very difficult.  Maggie enjoyed it too!  We played on the board for a while and then the storm clouds came rolling in.  We went in and went to lunch at the The Back Porch.   After lunch the boys took a nap and Babe went shopping.  Maggie and I went back to the beach for a while.  We had family pictures tonight before we went to Sand Destin for dinner.  It was a wonderful day and a great end to to our family vacation. 

Destin Day 6

 Day 6 in Destin was wonderful too!  We started the day with breakfast from Babe and then off to the beach we went.  We played on the beach until about noon when a big storm cloud approched us. We packed up and headed inside for lunch.  The storm went around us so I went back out while Maggie watched a movie and Turner rested.  It was nice to get a little peace and quiet on the beach for about an hour.  Then Maggie and Poppy joined me.  Maggie and I played in the water the rest of the afternoon.  We got dressed and went on the dolphin cruise at 6:00.  We had dinner and watched fireworks after the cruise.  Both of the kids loved watching the fireworks.  We had another great day in Destin!

Destin Day 5

 Day 5 in Destin was another great day.  It started out a little cloudy and rainy.  Poppy and Lance were playing golf so we decided that it would be a great shopping day.  We started out by going down 30A to Santa Rosa, Seaside and Watercolor.  After so long the kiddos were tired of looking and wanted to stop and get out of the car.  So we went to lunch at PF Chang's.  I know we can eat that anywhere but it is a favorite of all of ours.  Maggie spotted the ice cream shop as we were coming into the parking lot so that was our next stop.  We headed to the outlet mall next to go to a few shops.  After that Turner and Maggie let us know it was time to go back to the room and rest.  We all rested and watched a movie.  Then it was time for the swimming pool.  Everyone went down and played for a while.  Maggie really has enjoyed the pool and even found a few friends to play with in pool.  I decided that the kids and I would stay home and Babe, Poppy, Lala and Lance could all go to dinner.  The kids and I went to the beach and played at sunset.  It was lots of fun.  We flew a kite, made a sandcastle and people watched.  Maggie thought it was really neat that I would let her get into the ocean with her cover up on. We came up to the room and ordered $.50 shrimp from the restaurant downstairs.  Both kiddos were fast asleep when they got home from dinner.

 It was a great kite flying day.  We just tossed it up in the air and it took off.
