5 Months Old

WOW --- I cant believe that I am already posting Turner's 5 month picture. Time is going way too fast. He is just a little angel. We put him on the scales at home just to see what he weighed and it was about 17 1/2. He is growing more and more every day. He has mastered rolling over from side to side. He will always figure out a way to get where he wants to go. I guess what makes me know he is really growing fast is that the last few weeks he gets on all four and rocks back and forth like he is ready to crawl. He will move his legs but the front stays still and he tumbles. He is still very much in love with his sister and follows her every move. When she looks at him he grins from ear to ear. I think we are beginning the teething process and it is not a fun one for him. It has been pretty painful lately. He loves to be outside! He can be screaming and if you walk outside he will get quiet pretty quickly.

Mother's Day

Mother's Day was very quiet and relaxing at my house. We stayed in Rowlett because Marcelo's 35th birthday party was the night before. We went to church and then came home. We were going to go and have a picnic but it was kind of chilly so we decided to stay home and play. I got Wii Fit for Mother's Day so I played on that all afternoon especially while people were napping. It is kind of hard to play with Maggie wanting to play also. It was a great Mother's Day. I am just proud of the example that I had to follow. My mom is the best in the world. I am so proud to call her my mom!!!! It was hard not being there. I am not sure when I have ever missed a Mother's Day with her. I am so proud to be the mother of these two precious babies.

Park Fun!!!

We met some friends at the park and had a picnic. Jackson was not playing 100% with Maggie because there was a little boy who older there and Maggie was just not herself. After the little boy left and she had his attention she was her old self again. It was a great day to be outside playing!!!

Sweet Treats

Rowlett got a new Bakery and Cupcake place. So Sherry and I decided that one day we would take the kids to have a treat and get a cupcake. I let Maggie check out all the cupcakes and then pick her own. She picked Strawberry with Strawberry icing. We sat them down and let them start eating. When you fill kiddos with sugar they need a place to run around and get the sugar out. Sherry and I tried to get a little talking in after they finished and decided quickly that was not the place to do that. They began to run WILD!!! It was a fun outing though.

Turner slept the whole time we were there. Such a sweet baby!!!

A Day at the Zoo

Maggie, Turner and I got together with our good friend Sherry and Jackson and went to the zoo for a great day. We had the perfect weather --- sunny and not too hot! We tried to get there as early as possible and packed them a little lunch so we could have a picnic while we were there. We walked and walked and walked --- great exercise pushing a stroller with 2 kiddos in it. We tried to see all the animals but some were hiding from us. We had a great little picnic in the shade and then did some more sight seeing. What a great day at the zoo!!!
