Sesame Street Live
At the beginning of March we all went to Sesame Street Live. We met Tessa, Olivia, Hudson and Lisa (Nicole's sister). Harper was born the day the before so Lisa brought Hudson. Mimi kept Turner so that Maggie and I could have some one on one time together. It is special time and its also few and far between. We all had a great time. They danced, clapped and watched very closely. I'm pretty sure their favorite time was after intermission when Lisa bought cotton candy. Olivia really enjoyed it -- it was her first time to eat it. After the show we went and got some lunch together. The girls did really well --- I was very proud of them both. All in all it was a great time together with friends we don't see very much --- we are going to have to work on that.

Ash Wednesday
We went to the Ash Wednesday service at our church this year as we always do. They have a dinner and then a service. Maggie decided that she didn't want to go to the nursery so she got to sit with me and she did GREAT!! I was so very proud of her. She was very curious about the ashes and didn't want them put on her head. She just kept looking and being very curious about them. I told her that when she was a baby she had them put on her and so she wanted to see pictures as soon as we got home.
I started taking her picture in her bumbo chair in the green chair every year after Ash Wednesday. Don't ask me why but I love to look at them every year and compare them. It always amazes me how much they have grown. So once again we got out the bumbo chair and took pictures when we got home.

Just a fun afternoon
One afternoon after school we just played outside and had such a great time with this beautiful weather. I took them out to eat popsicles and Turner his own and put him in a big chair all by himself. He looks so BIG!!! What happened to my baby? He was so proud of himself and did a great job eating it all alone. We played chase, swang, played with sidewalk chalk and ended the wonderful day with dinner and a bath. I love SPRING!!!

Car Wash
One day after school I decided that it would be fun to wash the car (gasp). It was a beautiful day and we had no plans. I thought the kids could help and we would just have a great time together outside. Turner really enjoyed playing in the water and dumping the soap out mutltiple times. He was soaked by the time we went inside. Maggie was a helper and really enjoyed helping me get the bugs off. Only problem was that the water hose was too short and I couldn't find a squirter so I had to strech it the whole time and let the water run. Turner loved that because he got to play in it the whole time. We had a great time together and the car looked better too.
I think Maggie was getting on to him for dumping out the soap bucket.
Happy Baby
My camera has been down and out for a while now and so all the pictures that I have taken have been on my phone. Not the best quality but still able to capture the memories. Just had to get a picture of this happy little baby!!! Love that smile Turner!!!
Oaklawn
I have not been to live racing this year but mom and I took the kids to watch the horses warm up on a Saturday morning. It really is lots of fun because they will come up and talk to you and so you really can see the horses well and up close. Maggie is always asking if she can have a horse and I always reply with "Ask Poppy". She had a great time but was not in the picture taking mood and Turner also enjoyed it. He just watched and pointed.

One Sunday morning
I took a couple of pictures before church one Sunday morning to show Tessa. She had gotten Turner this precious little outfit for his birthday and so I wanted to show her how cute it was on him. Also Maggie was wearing one of my favorite dresses in the world because it was mine. Also one of my grandmothers best friends made it for me. So I just had to share these pictures.
In Sync Exotics
We have a great cat sanctuary very close to us in Wylie. Sherry and I decided on a pretty Saturday that we would go see the cats. Maggie and I had been once before but it had been a while. They have 52 cats there. There are lions, tigers, white tigers, bobcats and many more. It was fun to walk around and see all the animals just very relaxed. You can get pretty close to them when they are out of their houses. There is a double chain link fence so I was not real worried about them getting out. The only suggestion they make is that when a cat has his ears back and turns toward you with his tail lifted --- you walk away because they will spray you. Anyways we had a great morning and then we went to lunch at McDonald's and did a little shopping.

Pure Sweetness
Turner looked so precious one night when I put him to bed so I had to grab the camera. He is all set --- two lovies and a pop pop. He is the easiest child to put to bed. Grab those things and he waves good night to Maggie. Lay him down and turn off the light. He is a doll. He is so special to me and I just smile when I see this picture. He has started giving love. If I say "Give me love Turner" he will lay his head and just snuggle up to you. It melts my heart!!! I love you so much Turner!!!
Valentines Day
Maggie got to make Valentines for her class this year. We were going to get creative but at the last minute we just had to go buy some. I didn't get any pictures of them before they went to school but I got some when they got home. Maggie was very excited to open all the candy and start eating. Turner decided he wanted to get some also. He had his first sucker that day. From that day forward he has been hooked on them. He loves them to the last bite (oh yea he eats them with no teeth). Maggie got a pillow pet that she had been wanting for a long time and Turner got a new lovie. We lost his lovie for a few days so he got a replacement. I knew once I bought a new one we would find his old one. Yep a couple of days later we found it in the pocket of a suitcase. I am pretty sure I know how it got there. They also a couple of new weebles and some books. We had a great day. They got me a balloon and a rose. Thanks Mimi for helping with that gift.
A Day at the Park
It was really pretty one day and so we took the kids to the park to ride their bikes and play for a little while. Maggie got going down a big hill on her trike an took a pretty good fall. She was pretty good about getting about getting up and getting back on. We rode all the way over to the playground and played for a while. Turner loved the swing and so did Maggie. Jackson is always so helpful with Turner and loves to help out big brother style.

Fire Station Fun
A while back at our Fall Festival at church Sherry bid and won a lunch for 5 kids at the fire station. So before Valentines Day she scheduled the lunch and fire station tour. I was not sure that Maggie would get go because I had been in St. Louis all week and Maggie and Turner had been in Arkansas. Mom was so kind to bring them back on Thursday night so that we could go to the party. We met up there and got to tour the station, see where the firemen sleep, sit on the firetruck and even try on the outfits. WOW they are heavy!!!! I think that the adults (at least me) learned more than the kids. I really enjoyed it. I'm sure that I had been on a station tour when I was little but I really enjoyed it. Sherry tried on the outfit and tried to do it in record time like the firemen do. After the fun we got to have lunch with them. They cooked us hamburgers and hot dogs. Maggie and I had to hurry through lunch because we had to pick up Turner from Mimi's house. Sherry gave each child a basket with goodies in it and Maggie's favorite was the big lollipop. There was a stuffed dog and she told me that she was going to give that to Turner. I was shocked to say the least but very proud of her for sharing.
