Chuck E. Cheese

Friday Maggie and I went to Rockwall ( I didn't want to fight Dallas traffic and parking lots) and shopped in the morning (rain and all). We went home and took a nap, at lunch and played until daddy got home. When he did he wanted to go shopping so we all went to Rockwall again. After shopping a little while we went to Chuck E Cheese and played. Maggie loved it!!! She loved riding in the little rides, sliding on the slide and just people watching. Marcelo and I had just as much fun as she did. We probably would have gone even if we didn't have a child. We have always loved games and getting tickets. Playing the game where you hit the frogs on the head with the mallet.

Her favorite face these days.

Maggie does AMC

So Thanksgiving night we wanted to get out of the house and do something fun. So we decided to go to the movies. We went to see Madagascar 2. Maggie did great all the way through the previews. I thought this is going to be great. We had lots of snacks and juice but she only wanted Sprite. So to keep her quiet that is what she got. So when the movie started she wanted to get up and walk and talk. So I took her out for a little while to play in the hall. We went back and she stayed still about 5 minutes and Marcelo took her out for a while. They came back and I went again with her. Finally before the movie was over Marcelo came out with all our stuff and we decided to go. Her first movie she went to was when she was 5 weeks old. We went to see Charlie Wilson's War. Overall it was a fun experience.

This pic is from her first time at the movie.

Thanksgiving Day

We decided to stay at home for Thanksgiving this year. So we had a great reason and holiday to use our china. Yea!!!! So we fixed up our table and had a great Thanksgiving dinner. Maggie had fun playing with her dad's rosary.
Notice Maggie had her own lunch on our china. She didn't get to touch it though.

More Birthday Pics

These are just pics from the birthday party. I love the first one because she is holding the monitor like her phone and that dress was just too cute on her.

Notice the ear. Darby wanted her to turn around and look at her. When that didn't happen she decided to make her look at her.

Up close picture of the ear.

Maggie and her babysitter Jo.

Dad had this hat on and the string only went to his nose and it looked like oxygen.

Eating Cake and Ice Cream

So we made her a big cupcake that she could dig into by herself. When we got her into the chair she was not so sure about all that. She cried (she was tired), she looked to make sure it was ok, and she stuck a little finger in to test it. We put Darby next to her with a cupcake and she decided to show Maggie what this cake stuff is all about. She reached over and would stick her finger in and eat it. After we gave her some ice cream she decided it was ok and she played in it a little bit. We were singing Happy Birthday.

Notice the little finger from the side comming in to get a little icing.

Opening Presents

Maggie had a great time opening presents. She had lots to open! She enjoyed it until she opened something that she wanted to play with and then there was no more for her. Jo gave her a cell phone and set of keys. Well she and Darby only wanted that is when we had to learn to SHARE. Maggie got pretty possessive over the cell phone. She also got this cool rocking horse from Babe and Poppy C. Thanks everyone for everything.Darby is showing that she has the cell phone while Maggie is on the horse. Maggie is all eyes on that cell phone.

Christmas Parade

There was a Christmas Parade on Maggie's Birthday in downtown so we bundled up and headed out. It turned COLD on Saturday. We were all bundled up and still freezing!!!! Jodi got sick and so she didn't go out with us. The girls had fun watching everything except the big kids kept getting in their way. After we made christmas ornaments and had a balloon animal made for them. It was fun.
