Family Filled Weekend

We all went to Hot Springs this last weekend. It was a very low key weekend but full of family fun. Linda Lee was still there and Lance came in on Sunday, Trevor and his crew came in on Sunday for lunch and Marcelo's brother came so everyone got to meet him. We had no plans and did really not much of anything. Maggie had a great time with Darby and got to finally meet Jorgia. She was not real sure about me holding Jorgia. We will have to work on that. I love weekends in Hot Springs. That 4 hour drive is getting shorter and shorter. Maggie and her best friend!

Maggie loves pumpkins and Babe got some that were just her size.

She realized there was a baby in there.

Glittering pumpkins. Babe always has a craft for the girls to do. She is so thoughtful!

She was laughing so hard at Darby driving the car.

My Little Gymnast

We found a place in Rockwall that you can take your little one for one hour on Friday's and let them play on the mats, trampolines, beams and bars. So a couple of Friday's ago Maggie and I decided to try it out with some friends. She had a great time and got out some of that energy she always has. She loved the trampolines (in ground) and also jumping into the foam pits. I also wanted to take her to see if this is something that she would be interested in before I paid for classes. She loved it and we will for sure do this again!!!

TX State Fair

Sunday night we went to the TX State Fair. Maggie had a great time watching the parade, people watching, riding on all the rides that she could, and watching some fireworks at the end. She was so good --- she stayed in the stroller until time for her to ride her rides (that is unusual). She was not scared at all of any of the rides and didn't really want to get off when the ride was over. Mario went on a few of the things with her that she was not big enough to go on alone. We did make sure to sanitize our hands after every ride and even when I though we had enough germs from the air on us. Great time for everyone!Big Tex

She went in this little canoe all alone and it went up a little hill and then came down on the other side with a little speed. I can't believe that my little girl is big enough to ride all alone.

Here she comes down the hill.

"Oh sir --- do I really have to get out"

On the carousel --- she really didn't want to get off the horses.

Weekend in Hot Springs

A couple of weekends ago (yes I am behind in my blogging) we went to Hot Springs to visit. Maggie and I always love a little get away. We were only there one night but had fun seeing everyone. We had to check out Linda Lee's little get away that she has been working on. We just stayed at the house and watched the Hogs play, ate steaks with Maurine and Ralf, Melba and Wendall and then the family. On Sunday we moved the boat to the new house and took a ride around the lake. It was so peaceful and the weather was perfect. Munching on goodies while the Hogs play.
Maggie loves the hammock and she even got Poppy to swing with her.

Playing on Babe's phone

Does this match?

Maggie decided that she would pic out her shoes and hat for the day. Luckily we were not going anywhere. She wore that hat around the house all day long. At least I got a good laugh out of it. She always looks cute to me!

Meeting New Friends

Maggie and I got together a few weekends ago with my college friends and their girls Tessa and Olivia and Hannah and Emory. Hannah's nephew was having a birthday party at an indoor bounce house place. It was raining so great place to let the children go wild!! Maggie enjoyed playing on a few of the bouncing toys but was more interested in the little toddler area. We played with the girls a little but Maggie was very busy!!! So we couldn't get a pic of all three girls together. We played a while and ate pizza and cake and watched Noah open presents! Great time together! I hope next time we can meet somewhere that is not as wild and crazy and maybe we can get more pics of them together.
