Halloween 2010

We went to Hope for Halloween. They were going to Trick or Treat on Saturday night and Rowlett was going to Trick or Treat on Sunday night. Also it is just tradition to go to Hope for Halloween. Mom and Dad have loads of kids come to the door and when I say loads I mean 500-700 kids. It is pretty steady for hours. We take shifts giving out candy and we also have friends over to eat and to help. We always have a great time.
Maggie woke up wanting to make cookies. So Mag and Babe made cookies bright and early that morning.

We didn't have a seat for Turner in the tub so we put his highchair in the tub. He loves bath time!!!

He is always so happy!!!

This is her trick or treating. We went around her neighborhood in Poppy and Babe's golf cart with a flash light. Marcia helped me go around with the girls. They loved it!!!

We went to Rowlett on Sunday and went to a few stops around our neighborhood and then over to Jackson and Sherry's. We all went together around her neighborhood and then the last stop was at Mimi's house. Too many goodies!!!! We had a great Halloween!!!

Monster Mash 2010

Every year our friends Sherry and Jackson have a Monster Mash. We have a great time every year. This year they went as Jessie and Woody from Toy Story 3. Maggie got to pick out what she wanted to be and I just requested it be something so that Turner could sort of match. I think they turned out pretty cute. We decorated monsters and played monster games. We had lunch and ate monster cake and cupcakes. After lunch we went outside and found monster eggs. They were filled with lots of goodies. We had a great time and really enjoyed being with our friends. Jessie

Ft. Worth Zoo Day

We went to the zoo a few weeks back with a group of friends. We had 5 kiddos under the age of 3. It was a great time just getting to hang out and visit with friends. Maggie really enjoys animals so she was very interested in all the animals. She did really well riding in the wagon too. I was proud!!! We spent the morning walking around the zoo and then we went and had lunch. After lunch we went to the petting zoo and saw a few other animals. After the zoo Tessa had planned for us to go to ride the train that is close to the zoo. She didn't plan well because it was CLOSED (Tessa knows I am just kidding)!!!! We had a great time and the weather was good too. My kids slept all the way home!!!

Turner had a great time at the zoo. I don't believe that he is as much of an animal lover as his sister. But he had a great time!!! I don't think he ever made a peep.

Pumpkin Patch #2

We went to Grapevine for the 2nd pumpkin patch visit. They had a corn maze. I though oh this will be fun to do with them. So the first couple of turns I made mistakes on purpose but after about 15 minutes I was ready to get out. They had a petting zoo with a few goats. Lots and lots of pumpkins that we played on and around. Maggie got to get on a real John Deere. We had a great afternoon and really enjoyed our fun. We wished Tessa and Olivia would have been able to join us. This is easier than the 2 kiddo stroller.

Too Close for Comfort

Turner is now 10 months old and sweet as ever. He is just growing up so fast and I love him more and more every day. He is still without teeth but he can eat anything that he wants. He has gums of steel. He is a good eater and will eat lots of veggies. He has learned to drink out out of a cup and thinks its pretty cool. He has only had water and milk but loves it!!! My milk is slowly leaving me and he is really doing great with the transition. If he sees you put something in the microwave he will point and yell. He thinks it is for him and he is always ready to eat. He will let you know when he wants something. He is LOUD!!! He and Maggie are buddies and she is pretty protective over him. He weighs about 20 lbs, goes to bed at 7:30 and sleeps till about 6. I feed him and he goes back to sleep until about 7:30. He loves his pop pop and his lovie!!! We lost it once and I didn't know what to do. We found another that worked for that night. He is not walking yet but is getting a little braver with standing alone and cruising along the furniture. I thought he would have been walking now since he crawled at 5 1/2 months. He is a doll and I love him so much.
