Christmas around our house is usually pretty laid back. We just hang out all day and play with toys. The kids got up around 7:30 and got to see what Santa brought them. We woke Turner up pretty soon after that. Maggie kept saying "This is just what I wanted!". She was very pleased with all that she got. Turner loved the little workshop and especially loved the drill that went along with it. He was drilling everything. We went to the Coffee's at 8:30 for breakfast and to see what Santa brought those girls. He brought them a huge bounce house. Santa had to set it up in the garage because of the weather but it fit perfect. They all had a blast playing with it. I'm not sure the kids even ate breakfast. We played for a while over there and then left so they could get ready for church --- it was already 10:30 and we were still in our pj's so we decided against it. We played all day --- napped a little and played some more. About 5:00 I called and we went and got Darby to come over and play with Maggie and Turner. They played until about 9. It was evident that it was bedtime for Maggie. This year we didn't even cook a big Christmas dinner -- we ate leftovers. It was a great Christmas! Wow Santa was very generous.
Babe and Poppy gave the Coffee girls this wagon. It was lots of fun!
Oh the princess! She kept touching her ear rings.
Oh and the prince!
Maggie and Turner got a play house. We have not gotten to bring it home yet. My car was packed to the top!
We had lots of fun with Play Doh

Christmas Eve 2011
Christmas Eve was very laid back and quiet. Mom and Dad always have friends come over for a food and drinks before church. So around 5:00 people came over and we got to visit with everyone. Church was a little later this year -- I was not sure how my little man was going to do but all in all they all did just fine. We came home and put on matching pj's and opened presents with Trevor and his family. We have always opened presents on Christmas Eve. After presents we ate some chili that Trevor made. That's pretty much a tradition too. Before bed we put out the magical reindeer mix and put out cookies and milk. Both kids told Buttercup goodbye -- it almost made me have tears in my eyes when Turner went to Buttercup and waved and said "Bye Bye". We all went to bed and awaited Santa!

Turner wouldn't sit with me so Jorgia decided she would. Oh how I love that little girl and her personality!
Finally I got him to take a picture
Lala gave the girls a hat for Christmas.
Jorgia wanted to try it on for size.
Babe and Poppy gave Jorgia chapstick because that is something that her and her Daddy share all the time. She was very proud. Her lips should be very soft.
We gave this to Babe and Poppy for Christmas.
Milk and Cookies for Santa --- Maggie took care of that for Turner because he was already in bed.

Turner and Mommy's Birthday
We celebrated Turner's birthday on my birthday this year. We had a little family party for him and then mom cooked dinner for me. Trevor's family came over and we let him open his new electric jeep and drive it around before it got too dark outside. When we came inside we decorated cookies that we had made. Mom got some markers with edible ink so they could write on the cookies and also made some different colored icing. We also made mom a hand print tree with all the grand kids hand prints. It turned out super cute --- thanks Pintrest! We had cake and blew out candles. Then we opened presents. Turner got lots of trucks and books. On a funny note Darby told mom "not too many people came to Turner's party." She didn't know it was only a family party. Too funny!
Mom cooked a beef tenderloin for my birthday dinner and it was fabulous! Thanks for a great birthday!
