Rowlett Egg Hunt

Rowlett has a big egg hunt every year with lots of games, a bounce house, face painting, planting flowers and lots of fun stuff. But this year was the first year for a wagon decorating contest. So Sherry and I decided that we would decorate our wagon and try to win. So we put on grass skirts on the wagon and Easter eggs (supposed to look like eggs in the grass). We also dressed the kids alike just for the fun of it. I kept Turner in the Moby wrap where he loves to be!!! He never made a peep the whole time we were out there. So we hunted the eggs (just picked them up because they were everywhere), jumped in the bounce house, had a snack and then got ready for the contest. We were one of four wagons! So I knew we had a chance --- we won "Best Hawaiian Wagon". I guess they didn't get our concept but oh well they got to pick out a prize. After all the fun at the park we went to Jackson and Sherry's house to eat lunch and play in the sand box. They had a great time playing in the box.

Sweet Kisses

Planting her flower. She dropped it so many times before we got it home that it was all broken and had to go in the trash.

The crew --- Notice Jacksons arm --- we didn't know he had such a grip on her until we saw the pics.

Snack Time

Just playing at the park after hunting eggs

Sand Box time --- I noticed Maggie putting sand on Jackson's head and so I went out to stop the madness. I asked Maggie "Are you supposed to be throwing sand on Jackson's head?" Maggie said "No". Then Jackson responded "She is not throwing sand on my head she is just dropping it on there. And it is ok" It is so funny what a two and three year old will say.
