Dallas Museum of Art

We signed up for a Toddler Art class at the Dallas Museum of Art at the beginning of the summer. It was full except for this class at the end of the summer. I almost forgot that we even signed up for it. So we loaded up with Jackson and Sherry and went to museum. They got to sit and listen to a story in a really neat area of the museum made just for kids. Then we went back into the craft area. They were given a cardboard box and we told to use their imagination and make something out of it. They had colors, markers and different colored tape to use. Maggie made a house and Jackson made a dino. Turner just hung around and watched everyone. Then we went outside to the sculpture garden.

We went and had lunch at Dream Cafe after the museum. Great little place with a nice patio and a little playground right there. That kept them occupied.
Outside the museum. We were waiting on it to open.

The final product!

This was the self portiate table. They each had a mirror to look in and paper to draw themselves. Maggie loves to draw and color.
