Candyland (Halloween Activity #3)

Maggie's friend Parker invited her to their Fall Festival at their church in Rockwall.  So after debating --- we decided to dress up and go.  We called Nicole and asked if they wanted to join us.  The theme was Candyland (like the game).  They had games galore, candy galore, hay rides, a horse to pet, face painting, food, silent auction and anything else that goes along with a fall festival.  My kids had a great time.  Turner acted so big.  He would get in line for a game and say Turner, Turner just waiting on his turn.  I was such a proud momma.  So we played lots of games, ate candy, ate dinner and finally concluded with a hay ride.  It was wild.  The tractor driver was pretty fast and a little wild.  I was holding on to my two kids and hoping I could hold on myself. Nicole was sitting across from me with eyes as big as saucers and holding her kids for dear life.  All in all we had a great time.  It was the start of our week full of Halloween activities.

Just for my memories:  Someone asked me if they were twins.  I said "no just brother and sister."    Then she said "Which one is a girl and which one is a boy?"  I said "This is the girl and this is the boy." They turned to their friend and said "its boy and girl twins." I said "no they are not twins.  Just brother and sister."  She said "Really????"  I said "yes -- she is almost 4 and he is almost 2."  It was pretty amazing.  I know they do look alike but twins?????
Maggie and Hudson --- so very cute.
We started off with face painting.
I love the little guy getting his face painted with a pop pop in his mouth.  So big but yet so small.
Turner and Harper along for the ride.

My little Cinderella
How cute is this?  I love this picture.  Waiting their turn for a game.  Oh he looks so big.
