Maggie's 9 month check

Maggie went to the dr. yesterday for her 9 month check up. She weighs 19lb 2 oz.(60%) and is 29 inches long (90%). The doctor said she was going to be long and lean. Wonder where that came from???? She is meeting all the milestones except one --- sleeping through the night. We are going to start working on that soon. I am really not looking forward to listening to her cry at night but that is what is going to have to happen. We have a very bad habit of wanting to see each other at least once a night. I have never let her cry at all so this will be hard on both of us. She got a flu shot in her leg and didn't cry but for one second. Then they had to prick her finger to do some blood work. I got to hold her while they did it. Maggie just looked at the lady and scrunched up her nose --- no tears at all. They called me after the appointment and she is a little low on iron so we start drops today. She is a tough little girl. She is fast on her knees and sometimes all 4 but she is standing alone more and more every day. She has started the back bend in the car seat --- difficult to get her in when she is in that position. She is eating more and more table food - texture has been an issue. She dosen't like the 3rd baby foods with texture so we went to real food. She is doing better. She is just a great little girl and I love her more and more each day!!!
