Nacogdoches Trip
On Friday morning Maggie and I had to make a quick trip to Nacogdoches (3 hours) to see a dear friend who is sick and not doing well. She had never met Maggie and said she was not sure that she would ever see her in person. So it was very important that we go. We went to her house and stayed about 1 hour and it was worth every minute. Maggie had to be in her Sunday best to see her. After the visit we went to the Stephen F Austin campus which is totally different now (6 years later). We went to the bookstore and got Maggie some SFA gear. We were going to meet up with some friends in Lufkin but the timing was just off so we headed home. Maggie was great she slept most of the way and then played in the back. The trip was worth every minute that we got to spend there.

I let Maggie play in the grass a little before we loaded up for the trip home. She found pinecones that she thought were very intersting.
She was trying to stand all alone. She is doing a lot of that lately.
