Marcelo was off work today and so we decided that we would go down to Greenville Ave and watch the St Patrick's Day parade. We used to go every year when we lived down on Greenville and we have missed the past couple of years just due to not living there and children. So I looked it up online to see what time it started and I thought it said 10:00 am. Well I like to be early to everything. I got us all up, fed and out the door by 9:15 am. We got there and got everyone in the stroller and happy. I noticed it was a little empty but thought it was just where we were standing. Well it just so happens it didn't start until 11:00 am. Well I wanted to keep out place right up front. Maggie was not so happy just sitting in the stroller and looking at the empty street. So she got pretty wiggly and wanted out. Well that was a mistake and I knew it. She wanted to walk, look at dogs, and just not be with mom and dad. So Dad followed her around for a while. Meanwhile Turner got hungry -- I had a bottle on hand and ready. After that he was not content and so I decided to get him out even though it was a little windy. Well when I pulled him out I knew we had problem. We had a blow out with white pants on. I didn't really have anywhere to take him to change him so we exposed him on Greenville. I had another outfit (short sleeves and short pants) that had some green in it so I put it on and put his sweater on over it. So the man with cotton candy came by and so we got her bribed with that and back into the stroller. Well that was a huge mess!!!

So the parade starts. Maggie wants out --- so she got her way so that we could see better. We waved our hands and got lots of beads. She of course wanted on the other side of the fence like other kids were doing so they could run out and get beads. I knew the minute Maggie got out there she would be gone!!! She would look back and wave --- hahaha I got out. So there was no way she was getting over the fence. So she tried going under. This parade seemed to last forever!!! It was lots of fun though. They even passed out Jello shots. Yea I am pretty sure it is more of an adult parade than children. All in all we had a great time but were all tired when we got home. My my how things change with 2 kiddos on hand.I think this is one of the first pics of me and the 2 kiddos. I always seem to be behind the camera.

After their long walk. She walked down the street but wouldn't walk back.
