Turner went to our church school preschool this year. He was in the infant class along with 5 other little ones. He had the best teachers I could have ever asked for. Ms. Teena and Ms. Marsha. They gave him all the attention that he needed and so that made it a lot easier for me to leave him two days a week. I knew that everyday he was there they were loving him so much. One day when I saw a teacher kiss him on the cheek it just melted my heart and also confirmed that he was right where he needed to be. He was one of the oldest in his class but the last one to walk for sure. He walked pretty good the last week of school.
They got to go to music class and library also. They also went on stroller rides around the school and outside. They all ate lunch around 11:00 and napped for about 1 1/2 hours after that. I just loved seeing that little smile when I would show up at the door and he would look around and see me. The last day of school was really hard for me. I left with tears in the morning when I dropped him off and left with tears in the afternoon knowing he was growing up and wouldn't be in the infant class any longer.
He had a great first year at school and I am so thankful for everything Ms. Teena and Ms. Marsha did for my little boy!!!
