We finally picked a weekend and got to the blueberry farm before the season was over. We went very early in the morning hoping that it wouldn't be too hot. It was actually pretty nice outside with a little breeze. Everyone got their bucket and off we went. I'm not sure that Turner got one blueberry in his bucket because he ate everyone that he picked. Blueberries are one of his favorite foods. Maggie had lots of fun playing in the dirt. Jackson did pretty good picking! After about 1 1/2 hours the sun started beaming down on us and it got HOT! We had to take a break and have snacks. They also have the best blueberry ice cream there. We all had some of that wonderful ice cream! After they played a little longer we got our berries and were on our way home. We had such a great time in the blueberry field.
