Destin Day 1

Day 1 of Destin was a pretty cloudy and a little bit rainy.  It didn't stop us!  We were all in our swim suits and ready to go after we moved all of our stuff to our new room.  It was perfect weather with with a little rain here and there but nothing to make us go inside.  We played at the beach for a few hours.  We built sand castles and played in the water.  Each of the kids got burried and thought it was the neatest thing ever!  We jumped waves and had lots of fun!  We changed clothes and had lunch at the Crab Trap.  After lunch we went grocery shopping and then finally got to check in to the other side of our room.  Turner and Mommy napped while everyone else people watched and got organized.  Maggie wanted to swim in the pool when Turner got up.  The pool was so chilly but we toughed it out and played in the water.  We decided to order food from Rick's Crap Trap from downstairs (the restaurant in the hotel) and had it delivered to the room.  My kiddos were too tired to go out and act nice. We had a great Day 1 in Destin!
