Whooo Turned 3?

My sweet little Maggie turned three right before Thanksgiving. I decided last year that I was going to do an owl theme because I found these precious pj's with owls but they only had a size that was too big. I bought them anyways and decided that she could get them on her next birthday. My friend Sherry does a theme for a birthday and carries it out throughout the year. So I decided that I would do an owl theme and do a few owls around her room. I never knew that owls would be so big this year. I think that Mom was actually surprised at how easy it was to find cute owls.

We decided it would be a party at home with just some games and playing outside if the weather was nice. We got lucky --- it was perfect. I borrowed a friends bounce house and we have a swing and see saw. They all had a great time playing outside.

We had cake, fruit and some goldfish. The cookies were a take home gift. They got to eat outside in the back yard. The fruit went over really well. Maybe being on a stick was an interesting way to eat fruit.

She got a new kitchen for her birthday. She got pots and pans, cookies, pie, fruit and cake to go along with her new kitchen. Mimi gave her a mixer that turns on. Maggie and Turner's favorite thing is to pull the beater out and act like we are licking it. They think it is so funny. My friend Alfonsina made her an apron and chef hat. Turner loves it just as much as she does. He will stand over there and just work away for a good while. He really likes to bang the pans together or open and slam the doors shut.

We had a great birthday party!!! I really can't believe that she is 3 years old now. I love you more than you will ever know.

Happy Birthday Maggie!!!

My friend Alfonsina made these little owls that were filled with lavender. We had them on a limb as you walked in the door. The kids got to take one home. The others are on her Christmas tree.

How old are you?
