Turner is on a really good schedule compared to Maggie who is on no schedule. He takes 2 naps a day one in the morning and one in the afternoon. He goes down without a problem. He has to have his pop pop and lovie and we turn his music on. He is in bed at 7:30 every night and now sleeps until 7:30 every morning. I love it!!!
He has transitioned to the sippy cup all by himself. So he drinks from a cup all the time now. He loves his milk! He also likes to drink water too. He will eat just about anything. Veggies are a favorite of his. He really likes green beans, peas, sweet potatoes and beans. He is starting to eat more fruit. He likes applesauce and bananas and we are trying more and more fruits. He likes to eat and he likes to eat right now. He is not patient at all. When anything goes in the microwave he thinks it is for him and he will point and scream until you get it to him. Another favorite is scrambled eggs, oatmeal and grits. Some days I feel like his tummy is an empty pit the way he puts food away.
He is not walking but still just crawling everywhere he wants to go. When he wants to get somewhere fast he puts his head down and just goes!!! He is pulling up on things and will hold on and walk around the coffee table. He doesn't stand a lot on his own because he always has his big toe flexed and so he has no balance. He still has no teeth. I had Trevor look at them to make sure that there was not a problem and he said that they are there they just haven't come in. He has had an ear infection since before Thanksgiving so we have been on meds for a while. It has not been very much fun dealing with that. He has become very spoiled and just wants to be held all the time.
He is not saying many words but really he dosen't have to because Maggie or I always get what he wants. He can say Mama, and Ma (that when he wants Maggie), bye bye and the other night he said na na when it was time for night night. Maggie and I have taught him what a bear says and he will say roooooar. He thinks it is so funny.
He really enjoys playing with Maggie. He is beginning to fight back when she takes toys away from him. He holds his own with her. He plays in her little kitchen a lot and just bangs the pots and pans around. He gets a little frustrated when we act like we are feeding him from her kitchen because he really likes to eat. He will pretend for a little while and then just starts yelling at us. He got a motorcycle from Trevor and Jodi for his birthday and he loves to watch it go across the floor. He gets so excited and tries to race. He loves music. He dances when it comes on and starts to clap and smile really big.
Turner I love you so much and am so proud of you. You are my sweet little boy!!! Thanks for all the smiles and I look forward to many more. You are my little angel!!!
