Baby Shower

Two of my very close friends gave me a baby shower. I really didn't want to do it because it is my second but they said because they didn't get to come to my first and because it was a boy that they had to. So I agreed. We kept it very small and it was just perfect. Of course they went over the top with everything and made it so very special. The theme for the party was a Sock Monkey Tea. It was a Sunday afternoon and so we had hot and cold tea, fruit, bread and a few sweets. They made me a diaper cake ( gotta love the diapers). Also everyone got to do a scrapbook page for a book that they are putting together for me. It has a place for a picture for each month of the year so that I can watch him grow and he will already have a scrapbook put together. I am very excited about that. They gave me lots of monkey gifts for his room and for him to wear. Sherry even found a little monkey named Clancy. How odd is that? It was just a wonderful day. I was so glad that my mom got to be there for this and also to get to meet some of my friends. Thanks girls for everything. Emily, me and Sherry
