William Turner Lucero

Friday December 18th we went to the hospital to have William Turner Lucero. We went in at 7 a.m. to be induced and I was already dilated to a 3 so I thought oh man this could go fast. I was in labor for 26 hours with Maggie so I was very excited to hear this news. They got the pitocin going and at about 12:00 they came to check me again and I was only a 4. I was getting disappointed and thinking this is not looking as good as I thought. Maggie was not wanting to come near her mommy because she saw the iv and thought mommy was hurt. All she kept saying all day is "mommy hurt, mommy hurt". Trevor and Jodi got there with Darby and Jorgia and I was still not very far along. After a while around 6 they decided to go to the hotel and rest and just wait until I called them. They checked me again and I was a 7. Mom called and asked if she should come but I said "no ". I text her back about 10 min later and told her to come right away because I was ready. They all packed up and were there in about 10 min. He was born about 30 min after that. He was born at 7:38 p.m. He weighed 7 lbs 15 oz and was 19 3/4 in long. He was just perfect!!!!! These are pics from his birthday. Before I left for the hospital.
