We started the 2
nd day of life off with a hearing test. He passed with flying colors. Debbie and Mike
Malek were in town and they stopped by to visit us and see Turner. Meanwhile Trevor and Jodi were back at the hotel dealing with a crisis. Their car got broken into in the night. What a frustrating way to start the day. We had our special lunch that day and so they brought us steak and lobster on a nice round table with a white table cloth and a rose. It was very sweet. Turner was just a great baby all day long. He loves to be held and I love to just hold him all the time. Trevor, Jodi Darby and
Jorgia came by after shopping all day. We all sat around and talked and watched the two girls play in a closet in the room. It was about the only thing for them to do while they were there. They had worn out all the toys that we had brought for them. We got to go home on Sunday around noon. The outfit that I had packed for Turner to wear home was way too big for his little body so luckily we put in one more little gown that he had just in case. So that is what he got to wear home. Trevor stopped by on their way out of town for one last visit. We were so glad they made the trip to be there when Turner was born. It really means a lot. Mom and Dad had Maggie at home and decided not to drive 45 min just to see us off from the hospital. They were at home to greet us when we arrived.

He is beautiful, Clancy! Can't wait to meet him! He looks a lot like Maggie to me. Special lunch? Who brought you that? The hospital? I have to know! I had a piece of cold roast beef from the cafeteria. No one even went and picked me up anything!
